Chairman and CEO, Jack Morton
Josh has been an integral part of Jack Morton since 1984. Prior to becoming CEO in 2003 and Chairman in 2007, he served in various capacities of increasing responsibility from an Account Executive to Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, the agency has expanded its reach across the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Josh’s passion to develop experiences that create emotional connections and strengthen relationships between brands and people pushes the agency to innovate in an increasingly cluttered marketplace. As a result, the agency has been recognized for its creativity, strategy and execution winning awards at the Effies, Cannes Lions, Ex, PRO, D&AD, Clios, PRO and Webby Awards.
Josh established Jack Morton as a leader in brand experience by helping clients improve how people experience, perceive, and engage with their brand to gain a competitive edge and achieve key strategic objectives. In partnership with his team, he built a global client base of some of the largest and well-known bands in the world. He continues to participate in key proposals and has helped lead the agency to secure long standing relationships with companies such as General Motors, Molson Coors and Liberty Mutual.
As CEO & Chairman, he instills an ideas-lead culture that drives the agency to “Be Extraordinary” inside and out and his leadership style embodies the agency’s core values of passion, agility, and respect.
As the firm's third CEO, and first non-founding-family member to lead the Company, he successfully managed key stakeholders through the transition from family business to subsidiary of IPG. He is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging programs and spearheaded the agency’s initial efforts to diversify its talent base and build a more inclusive workplace. He has managed the company’s executive team through growth and strategic transformation, particularly during unprecedented changes that have occurred in the experiential marketing industry.
Josh serves on the board of The Vineyard Trust, the owner of historic island landmarks. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, completed business and executive management training at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, Harvard Business School, The Kenan-Flagler School at the University of North Carolina and holds an honorary Doctor of Commercial Science degree from Suffolk University in Boston. Josh resides with his wife Alex in MA, and they are the proud parents of three daughters.
